I know this town
Like the back of my hand
But it doesn’t go along with my master plan
So I’ll close my eyes
Hope for the best
Waiting for my dreams
To lay me to rest
It doesn’t come easy
But it’s always the same
You don’t have to be naïve to
Play along with this game
I know it sound crazy
I don’t mind
There’s nothing like leaving the pain behind

Where the scars don’t matter
And the cuts don’t count
In this place you’re
All figured out
Where fingers don’t point
No one can judge
Everyone’s happy
No one’s holding a grudge

And the people
You hate are your
Friends in your dreams
Where nothing is really
What it seems

So be careful my friend
Keep an eye on your hand
Cause I’m lying to you
About Nowhere land

There’s no such place
I wish it where true
But since you weren’t careful
The joke is on you.
