I have a gift.
I can save lives...
Does that make me a superhero?

I can fly into burning buildings,
Breathe underwater to save people from drowning,
I can run long distances to catch up with the enemy,
I can take a hit, a punch, a gunshot, without being hurt.
Does that make me a superhero?

But, I have more gifts.
I can make my friends tears stop.
I can help them through their sorrows.
I can make them laugh 'till the sun sets.
I can be there when they need me most.
I don't need powers to do that.
I just need to smile, be there to hold their hand,
To hold them and praise, when they feel nothing...
Does that make me a superhero?
