I want to pull out your thoughts
Sewn intricately together with pieces of thread.
To pull out those threads and put them in my head.
I want to know what you're thinking tonight.
What do you think when I'm out of sight?
What are you thinking when you look into my eyes?
I want to know if you've hidden any lies.
You are so hard to read yet say so much without uttering a word.
I am too easy to read, but how do you interpret me?
What do you think we will be?
Best friends, young lovers, or nothing at all?
I have always had all the hope in the world and an open heart.
But this, you see, is what makes me fall.

I wrote this while wondering what someone truly thought about me. He had beautiful blue eyes.
