I gape at the shining ruby trail as I blaze by
Awe stuck I stare
Down…
Down...
Down...
Not even looking at what lies ahead of me
The chains on my bike chink as I bounce every which way
I zoom under the dark shadowy canopy of trees
Feeling almost nonexistent up high and hidden
I am not bothered
But intrigued by this endless…
…ruby red leafy path guiding my way.
