I am the dirt stained jersey that smells of determination, sacrifice, and passion.
II.
I am a flower in a bouquet that makes is unique and different.
III.
I am not frightful of the drastic changes that life my throw my way.
IV.
I am the smile that fills people’s faces after a long, gruesome day.
V.
I am a mask that hides me from my past.
VI.
I am a leaf floating in the wind, going anywhere life takes me.
VII.
I am a string that seems to be fraying at the ends.
VIII.
I am the speakers of a radio that seems to fulfill the unanswered questions that fill her mind.
IX.
I am a pair of over-sized sweatpants that hides my imperfections from the world.
X.
I am a therapist taking away my friends’ troubles when I have troubles of my own.
XI.
I am the twinkling stars of the night sky that give off just enough light to show the way.
XII.
I am an iPod on shuffle, changing my tune.
XIII.
I am the future not yet known, but waiting to be discovered.
