Favorite Quote:
Shakespeare's "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages."

I followed him,
Thinking I would find the answer,
The answer to a worryless life.
He did not have it.

I followed him,
When life was empty
And I was lonely,
And afraid to live alone.

I followed him,
In spite of his objections,
Because I loved him,
Because he loved me.

I followed him,
Through the darkness:
The hidden pain
And hidden suffering.

I followed him,
Ignoring the signs
That told me of my future,
The soon-to-be future of failure.

I followed him,
Blindly, not knowing our problems.
I was too happy see clearly.
The true troubles that he didn’t tell me.

I followed him,
Until death did he part.
Leaving me to sort out his mistakes.
Alone, with new worries and problems.

I followed him,
Not wanting to be
Alone in this world,
To the grave.

The author's comments:
This is about a woman who follows her man to the grave because of finances. She let her husband handle the finances, she wanted no part in it, and she had no part in it. But this is what brought her downfall. He didn't tell her that they were in trouble, and he died not telling her. She was in the dark with all and she didnt know how to pull herself back up when she was down. So, she killed herself. she wasnt able to handle all the stress, and, i suppose, neither was he. my finances aren't completely good either, and i dont know anything about it. im in school trying to understand all the time, i hope when im older it will be okay for me. i know that im not going to let my husband do all of it for me.
