Lighting,
lights up
my room
and the night sky.

Thunder,
loud and proud,
wanting to be
heard.

Rain,
soft and daring,
feeds the Earth
and comes down
in torrents.

The silence is deafening.
The wait for a lashing out.
The wait for the end
of the Tantrum of the Sky.

The author's comments:
Waking up at 6:00 in the morning by lightning can do some pretty crazy stuff to your brain...
