World of Bubblewrap
September 30, 2009
In my world of Bubblewrap,
the skies are always grey.
Rain will always patter down,
Never seems to change.
And in this world of Bubblewrap,
The population is one.
For to seem that everyday,
I'm nothing but alone.
The paths are always bumpy,
In the world's streets.
For even though there's safety,
Danger's where I stay.
Animals are plenty,
water's moving all around.
Winds never cease blowing,
And yet this Bubblewrap world makes no sound.
In my world of Bubblewrap,
people come and go.
But no matter how the seasons change,
My friends, I love them so.

Thankyou very much. I have a condition known as ITP where my platelet count (platelets are the cells in your blood that clot when you get cut or get a bruise) drops, then rises, and most always drops again. I am a blackbelt in karate and just got it a month before I was diagnoised...I've needed to be careful in everything I do...my count dropped the day I finished this poem.
