Why cant I forget about you?

Apart from you my mind would love,
But deep inside my soul is cuffed.
Cuffed to the thought of you.
An image that wont fade
A tape in my head hitting rewind then play.
Chained to you is the reality of my emotions. Althouqh I try to set free I really want to stay. I want to fly, far, far away. Then make a U-turn and rest in your nest. Conflict within rosed once I cut you lose.
I knew it was the best thing.
But a humans heart can only be so naive. These are words my lips will not speak.
For those are thouqhts I hope will die in time.
