Eternity

Fresh tears clouded my eyes
My hope in life slowly dies
Holding back my voiceless cries
I can’t believe I believed your lies

My faint beating heart is all that remains in the dust
I don’t want to keep living but I know that I must
I want to scream but I know I must hide
You’re so worried about her, you won’t even hear my side

Stupid as it is, I still want you the same
Even if our love left as quick as it came
My loves stays strong because it’s all that remains
Even if it gives me an agony worse than past pains

For eternity I will be here waiting
With each day my hurt is fading
I’m getting stronger and so is my hope
With you in my life I find ways to cope

I don’t care if you love her more
All is fair in love and war
You’ll kill me if you leave me now
Because I won’t let go, I don’t know how

that's really nice, i like it because even though its sort of about something that alot of poetry is over, it's still different and very good. the first part and the last two lines are the most intence but the middle is just a bit weak. the ryming is also awesome. and i love the lines, "holding back my voiceless cries, i cant believe i believed your lies." Its a great poem. keep writting
