Walking through them
Events
Like clouds
Changing the shade
Human made
Walking into the sad dark
Then in the sun
But the sun doesn’t last long enough

It is too dark
There are too many clouds
Blocking my sun
Where is my light
It is disappearing
The world is getting darker
The light is rare
My friends
Illuminate
The clouds
Try to snuff them out
Shades of the past
Always on me
Even in the shade of the present
Shade of the future
Hiding
My shadow
My evil
Always my companion
Always looking at my back
Trying to steal my knife
Will it get me

Overcoming my light

I walk through them
