Stand for yourself
Love is harsh.
Hopes are often not coming true.
Disappointments happen every day.
Smiles are sometimes uncertain.
Laughs hide dark thoughts.
And we ought to live through this.
We ought to find the star to keep going.
The sentences to wake up every morning.
The ideas to write long and interesting essays.
We ought to stay up and find new things.
To stay occupied.
Because one day, we'll die.
Or we'll find happiness.
And all this bad time we've been through,
It will be our life.
It will be us.
And we'll be proud of it.
