Feel my heart as it beats so slow
as if saddened by something
like a personal woe
Gone as minutes that pass into time
So does my hand
flowing swiftly along these lines
Writing away at true hearts
desire
As if lifting carols
from Sunday morning choirs
I have no shame
for my soul wonders where it cannot go
Maybe this is why my heart beats so slow
