What makes me, me
I only know what doesn’t
My name means nothing
When compared to me

My thoughts are just a blur
Something I will not recall later
My thoughts do not mean anything
When compared to me

My words are said
Then not given thought
No one listens, truly
Because my words mean
Nothing when compared to me

Finally I understand
It is what is buried deep
Not what stands on the surface
That makes me, me
