I am spinning around and around.
I am searching for something, but I'm not sure what.
Maybe I am searching for someone...
Whatever I am looking for, I can not find it.
The darkness is too overwhelming.
I feel like breaking down.
I am scared...
Light!
It shines dim, but it is there!
Or is it...?
I can nor be sure, but I must have hope.
Hope is the only way to survive in this crues world.
I reach out to the light, but it dims down.
I must reach it before it dies.
Before I die...
I move toward the light, and reach out to it.
As I am about to reach it, it disappears.
The outline of a figure.
Someone is there.
Was there...
They are gone.
I cry out, but no sound is made.
I am spinning around and around.
I was searching for someone, but I'm not sure why.
My heart feels empty.
Failure.

The author's comments:
I want this piece to be the type of piece that you can take however you want. I've had people tell me that it reminds them of a loved one who died, or a boyfriend who left them. I've also heard that it made someone think about one of their friends searching for God, but not finding him in time. Leave me a comment, and let me know what it reminds you of. Thanks a bunch. :)
