We used to be best friends
Now we're practically enemies
We used to talk all the time
Now we never talk unless we have to
We used to laugh and joke around
But not anymore
I can't believe I lost
One of my best friends
Whenever I was feeling down
I would always confide in her
She always listened to my problems
Always knew the right thing to say
But now all of that is gone
I don't think we'll ever get it back
Everytime I'm around her
It tears me up inside
I wanna tell her how I feel
She was always the only one I could talk to
She never judged anything I did
But now all of that is gone
And I no longer have anyone to confide in
So I guess I have to deal
With everything on my own
I just wish I could have my friend back
And have everything the way it used to be
But all of that is gone and it can never be restored

heaven is a place / a place where nothing / nothing ever happens.

I've read a few of your poems now, and while i think they are simple, i think they are preciely simple in the most perfect way.  you use poetry for what it was designed for--catharsis, closure.  Keep writing, this is excellent.

If I were you I'd promise to live life for all it's worth, take all you've been given and leave your mark upon this Earth. Trust your heart to show you everything you need...and if you were you, I'd fall in love with me. -unknown
