His eyes

His Eyes,
Glowing,
Staring,
Loving,
Beautiful.

Blue as the ocean
Staring back at me
As if he’s in love,
As if there’s nothing he’d
Rather be doing.
Telling a story nothing else can.
His life story revealed in one
Stare.
I get closer and closer,
Till I know every detail,
Till I feel his pain, and love.
I feel every touch.
I walk away,
I glance one last time,
And I see…

His eyes,
Glowing,
Staring,
Loving,
Beautiful.

The author's comments:
I loved my boyfriends eyes, the way I could tell in one glance what he was feeling. His eyes looked back at me as I left, as he saw me for the last time.
