Walking along the beach,
The sea breeze stinging your
Eyes. The gentle waves
Start to get rapid and swelled.
Its almost as someone is controlling
You take shelter behind
The sea rocks. Your heart races.
The waves bang up and over
Your hiding place soaking you.
You scream as the water
Invites you into its dethtrap.
Pulling at your feet, surrounding
You until your helpless.
But then,
As though on command the water
Snaps back, releasing you as it gets
Sucked back into its home.
Your muscles relax and you
Become less tense.
The sun
Shines brightly on your scared
Face. You smile and continue
Walking down the sandy path
