silence is golden; love is a mystery.

By , Saint Paul, MN
all alone inside this empty world; sitting on the old rusty creek,
this is the life of a broken girl; with a solid future looking bleek.
tears shedding like soldiers of war; falling with no sign of an end,
rocking this broken girl to her core; as she realizes her heart can no longer mend.
screaming out for a positive sign; while others watch from far away,
they wonder if she'll be fine; but she knows she won't be okay.

looking at this tragedy,
many question her sanity.
she looks but doesn't say a word,
hoping only her broken heart will be heard.
and all the critics come to see,
silence is golden; love is a mystery.

so many answers still unknown; and people spread lies like wild fire,
the holes in her heart will never be sewn; she doesn't know who is a liar.
now the broken girl stares so cold; and her skin turns icy blue,
so many secrets left untold; her lips hold what is true.
screaming out for a positive sign; while others watch from far away,
they wonder if she'll be fine; but she knows she won't be okay.

looking at this tragedy,
many question her sanity.
she looks but doesn't say a word,
hoping only her broken heart will be heard.
and all the critics come to see,
silence is golden; love is a mystery.

all the people come to stare; the lonely creek becomes a stage,
leaving her with nothing to bare; and releasing all of her rage.
she finally starts to move; wanting people to have hell to pay,
starting to speak with something to prove; here's what she had to say:

looking at my tragedy,
all of you question my sanity.
i will not say another word,
in hope only my broken heart will be heard.
and all you people will finally see,
silence is golden; love is a mystery.
