Favorite Quote:
The vastest things are those we may not learn.
We are not taught to die, nor to be born,
Nor how to burn
With love.
How pitiful is our enforced return
To those small things we are the masters of.
--Mervyn Peake

And so I turn and run
towards the sun,
my shadow leading on,
and, falling away, our soul's song
calls me back to those moments
when we were all one shade,
laughing in the river,
amongst the cloud children--

that melody forever
calls me back in moments of
weakness and fear,
in moments of
despair and denial,
forever reminding me that
though we are alone in existence,
forever
we are alone in existence
together

The author's comments:
As humans, we're alone in our existence, but having a connection with someone that transcends that makes that knowledge brighter.
