I love the way pearls are so classic,
The way they draped over Audrey’s
perfect swan neck
or hung from Jackie’s ears,
behind her signature teased hair

Lace so beautifully textured
It can be both classic,
when worn in white on your wedding day
or eerie when worn black,
paired with deep reds
and dirt on Halloween.

The depth yet felinity of the color purple,
excites me even to this day. ?From the days of Barney and grape soda
to my everyday flats to my perfect prom dress
this regal color is dark and mysterious
but still playful and perfect.
