Caged

I'm not used to closed-in walls,
I prefer my cage to be open,
Clawing, screaming, freedom revoked,
Am I deserving of them?

These bars enclose me, one by one,
I long for an open door,
Just help me out of this iron hell,
In love, not war, do I endure.
