Empty Heart, Empty Life

The house screams,
The doors cry,
The rooms moan.
They're all empty,
Because you are gone.

The floors get dusty,
The paint chips from the walls,
The sink gets dirty.
They've all been abandoned,
Because you are gone.

The flowers wilt,
The trees fall over,
The sun darkens.
They're all dead,
Because you are gone.

My bones ache,
My head splits,
My mind goes numb.
My heart is hollow,
Because you are gone.

Please don't leave me here to die.
