Breathe in, breathe out

And it’s a sudden release-
my tears have hit the cold
hard dirt and my thoughts
spread out in beautiful triumph;
it feels so wonderful to cry,
to let this aching heart sob
and truly throb with torrents
of emotion.
“Breathe in, breathe out.”
I hear my mother whisper in
my ear, as I cry in her
shoulder…
I cry for you,
for me, for
the joy and wonder
I held in your very
existence.
It’s a beautiful,
glorious moment
for me- as I
let you truly out of
my life…
