What If?

What if the world was fair,
and everyone was right,
What if we had no reason to believe we have to fight,

What if we found a way,
To see if we could say,
We better stop with telling lies,
And start taking the blame,

what if we tried to scream,
And no one seemed to hear,
What if the sky turned to fire,
and yet, it rained all year,

What if there was a note,
That Mozart never knew,
What if he sailed to the edge of the earth,
Would that still be the truth?

What if we got a push?
What if we got a lift?
Would we all still be sitting here,
wondering 'What if'?

I wrote this peom to mean that if we all stopped thinking about the what if's, and started worrying about the what is, then we wouldn't be in war, or have a bad economy. We wouldn't be letting everyone think that everything is lost. It's not. And it's not worth it to say that in the first place. That's why you need to keep your chin up and say 'Yes, I can'. Becuase that's what is.
