I long...

Nights so lonely, as I try not to think of him,
He could’ve had a future, if I’d have given him a chance.
I killed him, I deserve to die.
Now I know for sure, that happy endings don’t exist.

Blue like the ocean,
Blue like the sky.
I only need a line of red, just to get by.
A small cut, no one will notice.

I’ll never forget that scream, my brother’s face.
Next thing I remember was him asking if I’ll live.
I couldn’t have cut that deep, could I?
I guess I did, since I’m in a hospital now.

I dream of the day I am free, from this blue world of mine.
I long for other colors; oranges, yellows, greens, purples.
The day of my freedom, will be the day of my happiness.
They say they can fix it…
We shall see.
