I look in your eyes
And I see kindness;
Love.
I listen to your voice
And I hear happiness;
Joy.
I wrap myself in your hugs
And I feel confidence;
Safety.
I see the way you find all these things in her
And all I can think is hate.
Hate for myself
And how I know I'm just not good enough.
So I look in the mirror,
Searching for a reason,
But all I see is a sad,
Lonely girl
Who wishes
You loved her back.

I thought it would be cool to use this image of cherios 'cause they're just yummy little circles of emptiness that you can never seem to get enough of... :)
