Her Call For Help

August 29, 2009
By , Bronx, NY
Everynight she screamed
"someone save me!"
But no-one ever listened
Everyday her eyes
sheded tears
But no-one ever saw
Every evening she was reminded
of the day before
When she took that sharp
edge and make those incisions
But no one ever asked
From the light of the day
'til the darkness of the night's sky
She thought
'why me? Why am I feeling this way?
But no one ever answered
Then one night, she went to sleep
But never woke up.
Now everyone asks
What happened
And why
And that girl's ghost just stands next
To them telling them
Maybe next time you'll hear
And see and ask about and answer
A call for help
