They fall together.

A promise they silently made,

No matter the weather,

Or where they were set to lay

Both hold each other tight

Closing their eyes as they fall

They beg to the world with all their might

In case it saw

Just how unjust,

How unfair,

That they had broken their trust

And now they could not bare,

The overwhelming feeling of letting go

The two looked at each other once more

In his eyes he pleads ‘please’, while hers whispers ‘no’

And then they battled a bitter war

Not with themselves, but to the world

They fought to prove themselves

They thrust and twirled

Yet it bare no dent to the backstabbing elves

So as their fingers let go one by one

They never let go of each others eyes

Holding as long as they could until done

For in another world, together they may rise.
