I don't like loud noises

Especially at night,

But think about what they scream for in the late hours

I don't like when the world shakes

But I say that when I felt nothing like they do

I hate running

Especially when i'm tired

But imagine what it would be like

If you were half dead

I hate when my tummy rumbles when I forget to eat

But just think, if you forgot the last time you had a bite of something

I hate when I cut myself and a trickle of blood flows out

But I know that it's all they see, red

I don't like being alone

But they walk on earth by themselves

I would hate to lose who I loved

But they lost them all in a blink of an eye

Then why ignore what we could feel?

Why make exceptions for us?

Just let it be known, in your mind and heart

That you stand in the middle

Don't ask me for my opinion

I take no sides

I don't want to make it political

It's just that, all I have is pure humanity

And that's exactly where I stand.
