Whocouldtalksofast
Andsaynexttonothing
Insuchanurgentmanner.

I NEVER MET SOMEONE
WHO COULD TALK SO LOUD
AND YET SPEAK SO SOFTLY
I COULD BARELY HEAR.

I … like … never … um … met … ­someone …
who … could … uh … think … so … much …
and … like … say … hmm … so … little …
that … I … er … saw … no … point … to … it …

!!!I!!!never!!!met!!!someone!!!
?who?could?use?tons?of?punctuation?
!?and!?express!?no!?emotion!?
… it … sounded … like … m-o-n-o-t-o-n-e …

I never met someone
who could fake it so well
and fail so miserably
that I stopped believing.

It's making fun of how teenagers talk and write, and exposing how with all the talk, not much actually gets said. It's also exposing someone that hides behind all that talk with lies and empty words. I'm in love with this! The poem is creative and uses other things than words to get a point across :) I'd love to see more poetry like this!

This is a well written poem. It has a lot of creativity to it. This poem uses different types of words to make the poem flow easier. The last stanza is all my favorite. "I never met someone/who could fake it so well/and fail so miserably/that I stopped believing. This stanza could be used to describe many people and their situation in the world today.

Amazing rhythm and voice!

You make excellent use of irregular spacing and punctuation to achieve this effect.

While the creative approach is pleasing at first read through, it lacks the sort of depth that would cause me to read this again, and again. Other than that, Phillip is pleased.
