"Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality." - Edgar Allan Poe

His name ripples through me,

Like rigid waves in the sea.

It puts me back in that place,

Locked in his embrace.

I struggle and struggle,

All he does is chuckle.

With more and more force,

He feels no remorse.

Pinning me to the ground,

Pulling up my gown.

I feel so weak,

Why can't I speak?

I feel like a doll put on display,

With the way Im restrained.

I can feel my childhood slipping away,

More and more as I'm forced to obey.

It feels like I'm drowning,

I can no longer feel my surroundings.

As I feel my body slowly decay,

More and more, my world turns grey.

Drowning in his lust,

Destroying my trust.

I happens over and over,

Then I'm dropped with no closure.

Taking a piece of me each and every time,

With this horrendous crime.

This poem is something I wrote to express my inner feelings and put my story out there without having to really talk about it.
