What is Success? Installment 4 “Validate the Now”
Four years ago, I knew.
I knew before then.
Divided in emotion is when I felt it first.
Riding down dissension, the smell of perplexity.
I fall in love easily, or did.
As I began to move on from her, I “met” him.
He wasn’t perfect.
AND I DIDN’T LIKE HIM.
But I felt safe.
There was an allure like I’ve never felt before.
And haven’t felt since.
I debated telling him, but thought I was too uncertain to.
I debated telling myself.
I debated telling YOU.
Since that moment, I’ve been uncertain.
I went back to her and continued down the same path.
Driving down division, I “realized” what I already knew.
That Feeling.
Altered.
It was reignited.
Many times.
I suppressed those feelings.
“It’s a phase”
Until it wasn’t.
I look myself in the mirror.
I’m positive.
Validate the now.
