Death is a Sketch Pad
The artist decides what to draw for the day.
He paints what he wants,
sketching it into being.
Ideas given life,
movement defines them.
Soon they move on to the next one:
artifacts forgotten.
Few will be woken,
aching from eons slumber,
disrobed and disturbed and disfigured.
A sketch pad births ideas,
just as soon as they embalm them in still life.
a Sketch Pad is Death.
