A purple film of harmony
Breaks
Like glass
And
Pain’s song drums,
Gushing out
In rhythm
As watery passion slips
Like
Broken shards from hands,
And the once love-drunk woman
Weeps as her deep emotions spill
To empty joy
And leave love’s melody dead
And thirsty.
