There’s an enormous puddle at my feet.
Each drop that created this puddle has
to do with what we all don’t want,
what all of us around this world don’t need ...
Drop: Shame Drop: Hurt Drop: Pain Drop: Loneliness
What all of us around this world can’t stand ...
Drop: Grief Drop: Guilt
What all of us hate, but it seems to come

around nevertheless ...
Drop: Tears Drop: Anger Drop: Depression
What all of us around the world have seen

and experienced ...
Drop: Anxiety Drop: Trouble
There’s this huge puddle at my feet.
I grab a mop and soak it all up
until there’s nothing but a smudge on the floor.
I take a look back
to see if I have missed something.
There’s the last drop,
but I don’t seem to want to get it.
Because it spells one word ...
Drop: Life
