     The leaves burn and crumble away
Into the night where they
Blow deep into the sky.
The ash where they stood
Is swept away in the same gust
Only to be spread across the meadow.
A fire can cleanse anything.

I like it a lot. That last line "a fire can cleanse anything" doesn't really fit though. You should try to say that without coming staight at it.
