The fickle finger of fate is a tricky one, indeed.
If you ever come upon it, I suggest you take much heed.
You might be going one path, and quickly turn away.
It’ll make you change or switch your mind,
Here’s what it has to say:
“I decide your future, if you succeed or if you fail.
One day, you might be famous; the next, a tragic tale.
Ironic sense of humor, I get kicks from people’s pain,
So if you try to fly away, I might cancel your plane.
Again, again, I warn you: do not mess with me.
For I am the fickle finger of fate,
With whom you cannot plead.”
