Something I remember
November 30, 2020
As a child the happiest time of the year for me was always my birthday
I remember every year i would look forward to all the texts and calls
I remember the night before and how i could never fall asleep
I remember waking up the happiest person jumping out of bed
I remember the smell of pancakes that my mom made for me each year
I remember everyone just showering me with love and excitement
I remember all the messages and shoutouts my friends gave me
I remember each and every birthday to a t
Its the one day a year i remember just how grateful i am
