Childhood Memory
I Am From:
I am from the the walks on the beach
And the sand on my feet
And not wanting to go home after vacation
I am from July days at the pool
Running through the sprinklers
Playing hide and seek
And having all the ice cream you could eat
I am from my grandma’s famous apple pie
The smell of cinnamon
The crunch of the crust as we ate it
So yummy
So refreshing
Those were the moments
And I would trade them for nothing
