A childish innocence in her eyes
A look no one could disguise
Her spirit was as free as she could ever be
A little girl filled with glee
She looks up into the night sky
And has thoughts of wanting to fly
The night calls her free spirit
It dances to a song with no lyrics
She put one foot in front of the other
A childish wonder in her gaze
She looked up into the night sky
She dreamed of a day she could fly
Her dream came true
And so she flew and flew
A little girl full of joy and love
Flew to new heights up above
