Today, my name means too many things on my mind.
Yesterday, it meant too little gas in my car.
Tomorrow, my name might turn into “where are my keys?”
My name is the wish of half-decent planner.

Inside my name hides a fiery passion for equality.
My name travels toward a career worth meaning.
Secretly, I know my name is a safe haven for all.
My name was born when I marched for our lives.

If I lost my name, I’d look under my bed.
Today, my name means too many dreams.
Yesterday, it meant too little time.
Tomorrow, my name might turn into— we’ll have to wait and see.
