Oh now I’ve only met you once
You were my fathers closest friend
Before I knew just who you were
I saw you at the end
It was early in the morning
Your mom was sleeping heavily
After I knew just who you were
My fathers friend was empty
Right at the place I use to live
I left my severed soul
I’ll always remember the lesson you gave
When my fathers heart was turned to coal
