I found my home in the warmth of my soul.

But I warn you,

still to this day I struggle to love this sanctuary of mine.

To be able to fill it with warmth,

like how the sun kisses your skin on a hot summer day.

this love,

this home,

this sacred soul,

it’s hard to adore,

it’s hard to adjust to,

but there’s something about this feeling.

it’s that feeling,

like the breath of air you have been waiting for

after a long deep dive into the depths of the fury ocean.

In my opinion this love,  is the best,

most rarest kind of love.

The type of love we all go out looking for.

But little did we all know

that this is what our souls desires most,

the love that we can fully give ourselves.

We all have our own demons,

some bigger than others,

some harder to defeat than the rest

but with love and care

you too will show these demons what they have never felt before.

The full complete feel of pure acceptance,

the feeling of utter bliss spreading through your veins,

the unconditional love that feeds your very existence.

We all have to accept that we’ve all failed,

a whirlwind of missteps.

We have all been broken,

but with each step

we can only learn to grow,

we can all shed our skin that we had once built.

No where in the books does it say

that who we use to be

has to be fully attached to who we are now.

I’ve had my fair share of sleepless nights,

crying in agony,

over the whispers of those voices in my head.

Screaming and clawing at my already raw skin

but no more could I bare the pain.

Slowly, do I finally realize,

that this world we live in is a game of duality,

salt, sugar, hot, cold, light and dark.

All of these things are needed in order to feel the other.

I have eventually create courage

to defeat those voices in my head,

the voices that have been beating down my soul

day by day.

I forgave those who have done me wrong,

because they too are struggling

with their own voices.

So do yourself a favour,

don’t feed the demons of others

not even your own.

There is a question I want to ask you.

Do you even realize how beautiful and strong you are?

Possibly you don’t,

but that is okay because a butterfly can’t even see its own wings.

From here on out I want you to realize

you are power,

you are beautiful, and most importantly

you are love.

Spread it,

share it with others

because all you will ever receive back

is simply the love you give out.
