"Think for a moment of the long chain of iron or gold, of thorns or flowers, that would never have bound you, but for the formation of the first link on one memorable day." - Great Expectations, Charles Dickens

The wind whispers into the room,
Brushing your hair,
Kissing your skin, kissing mine
That which brushed your cheek brushed mine

Our hands and limbs,
Encircling the other's,
unfurling, swirl
until:
you and i melting together
(Under the bedsheets,)
Into the bedsheets

And maybe I am not in love with you yet
But certainly, I am in love with your vineyard locks and almond eyes
And how the wind brushes your cheek
And how your limbs swirl into mine
And how, you,
Oh you...
