The Wind's Secret

The wind whispered in my ear one night
A secret held within the light
A hidden gem, an unsung song
How could I have known it wrong
But alas when I began to cry
The wind knelt down and asked me why
I said “I’m human can’t you see
what your secret did to me”
The wind then sighed and took a chance
One gust to wake me from my trance
Now here's the secret, this time for real
The truth- it hurts more than heals
