When I looked in the mirror

I did not see my face

I saw a weak little girl

Who would bend at the waist

Who would bow down to power

Cause that’s what we’re taught

Our personalities don't matter

As long as were hot.

Yes-women are flowers

We are forced to behave

But I tell you I don’t want that

I want to be treated the same

No sir-I can get my bag

No sir- pay me the same

Cause when I look in the mirror

I know I’m not to blame.
