Tie Dye
Evidence of creation
Shown on hands of
Stained finger prints.
Spirals swoop,
My eyes turn with each curve.
Spolches splash color
To blank white.
Unique patterns,
Invented by chance.
Hours of anticipation,
Loom to wait and see,
Addiction of sight
Forms to witness mixed
Tints and shades.
Vibrant colors
Dance with illusion,
Not one will
Be the same.
Beautiful works of art,
Permanently stained.
Calloused hands squeeze
Fibers; bleeding
Colors emit,
Consumed by the
Porcelain sink.
The masterpiece worn
On the shoulders
Of the creator,
Embracing beliefs
Of own self expression.
