Look up into the sky,

Feel the warm blanket of light touching my skin.


Wrapping myself in your grasp,

Burning my paper white skin.


Looking straight into your face,

Shining brightly into my eyes.


As you dip under the horizon

Darkness appears.


When your sphere of gold disappears

The bright, shining stars emerge.


In the pitch black night

All I can do is smile.


Because I know,

You’ll be back tomorrow.
