A sheet of blank paper
Crisp folds make a base
Turn it
And crease it
Let fingers flit and make crinkles
Make each model a mantra
Of meditative recursion
Fold petals upon petals
With edges refined
It’s a gift for a friend
Or a charming memento
A trinket forgotten
An appreciative smile
A simple plane turned into a story
One more piece
of origami.
